About the Author

Deron R. Hicks

I live in Warm Springs, Georgia with my wife Angela, daughter Meg, and son Parker. I am a proud graduate of the University of Georgia, where I obtained a bachelor of fine arts degree in painting. Having obtained a degree in painting, I took the next logical step in life -- I went to law school (and I actually loved it) . I spent the next three years at Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia. I have always been an avid reader. Several years ago, I started reading a series of books about William Shakespeare. I had never been a big fan of the bard, but something changed. I became inspired by Shakespeare and the world in which he lived. I wanted some way to share this interest with my children -- so I wrote a book. And then I wrote another book. It has been a wonderful journey so far.
