About the Author

Keven McQueen

I am an instructor in the Department of English at Eastern Kentucky University and I have written twelve books on biography, history, folklore, ghostlore, natural disasters, and historical true crime. Most of my books concern Kentucky, but a couple are centered on Indiana and my 2011 book "The Axman Came From Hell and Other Southern True Crime Stories" covers the entire region of the South.
