About the Author

Andrew B. Ayers

Andrew Ayers graduated first in his law school class at Georgetown in 2005. He then clerked for the Honorable Sonia Sotomayor on the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and for the Honorable Gerard E. Lynch on the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. During the second clerkship, he and his wife Emily Ayers discovered that they were having twins, so they moved back to their hometown of Albany, New York. He works there as an appellate lawyer.
