If you're a writer, you'll want to check out Deb's 54-card deck and guidebook, FICTION MAGIC: CARD TRICKS & TIPS FOR WRITERS. With card "tricks" (prompts that help intensify the tension in your stories) and "tips" (suggestions to help relieve the tension in your writing life) , FICTION MAGIC is part craft lessons and part creativity coaching. It's like having two decks in one. And if you want to see more progress on your projects, you'll want to talk with Deb about being your coach.
Thanks to her many interests and a trio of teens, Deb is an expert at creating in the middle of chaos. She and her husband, Karl Olsen of The Brothers Four, live with their remarkable kids and obedient schnauzer on Whidbey Island in Washington state, where it seems everyone is an artist of some kind.
