About the Author

Colin Gallagher

Colin Gallagher is an educator based in Singapore who loves computer games and using computer games in education. Colin is the host of Minechat YouTube channel, owner of the Google Minecraft in Education Community and owner of edutechniques.com, an educational technology website. Colin has been named an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Teacher and has presented around the world on education technology most notably TEDxBKK. In October 2014 he was presented with the "Outstanding Contribution to Education" award at the Global LearnTech Congress in Mumbai.

In his spare time, Colin plays a lot of computer games (some not so educational) , watches a lot of bad reality TV shows, and listens to a wide range of musical acts from Faith No More to Frank Sinatra. He also loves to travel and experience new ways of getting lost.
