About this item

In the spirit of Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, psychotherapist and host of the self-help podcast Disordered Joshua Fletcher provides a candid, funny, and revealing look inside the mind of a therapist as he faces his own struggles while treating patients with anxiety disorders. What goes on behind the closed door of a therapist's office, or, more importantly, in their head as they are treating the clients? And How Does That Make You Feel? takes you there.Structured around four client case studies, Joshua Fletcher lifts the veil of secrecy around an often-misunderstood profession. He details, with care and compassion, his clients' nonlinear path to health and healing, as he works with them to overcome their anxiety. Along the way, Joshua chronicles the voices in his own head that act both as a hindrance and a guide in his treatments.
