About the Author

Joanna Garzilli

Joanna Garzilli is a spiritual success coach, motivational speaker, and author of "Big Miracles: 11 Spiritual Rules For Ultimate Success," publishing by Harper Collins on Valentine's Day 2017. She is also co-founder of Hyper Chariot with her husband Nick, developing the ultimate transportation system of door to door space travel on earth. She has been featured in media nationally and internationally including: BBC News, BBC Radio, CNN Money, NBC, OK! TV, Kcal 9, CBS 2, LA Weekly, MTV, Huffington Post, Runway and Elle.

Over the past 20 years, Joanna has done thousands of intuitive readings and spiritual coaching sessions for business leaders, entrepreneurs and celebrities including some notable names: Ellen Burstyn, Goldie Hawn, Monica Lewinsky, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Vanessa Marcil, Ernie Banks Hall of Fame Baseball and Robbie Rogers U.S. Olympic Soccer team.

When Joanna was 6 years old, she'd kneel by the side of her bed every night before going to sleep and prayed, "What is the purpose of my life? " She was a very sensitive child and felt people's pain and fears, even when they tried to act like everything was ok.

In her teenage years, she was a London party girl however she leveraged her popularity by hosting a large party at a famous night club and raised over $10,000 for the charity Operation Raleigh, a sustainable development charity, their mission, to challenge & inspire volunteers from around the world to work with communities in poverty. She also raised thousands of dollars for UNICEF and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

In Joanna's twenties she struggled to integrate her natural leadership qualities with her low self esteem. She felt misunderstood in her environment. At the time she was working in advertising for Saatchi & Saatchi. She then moved onto work in corporate finance for Merrill Lynch. Her soul was calling her to travel the world. She spent time on the Hopi and Navajo Reservations with their spiritual leaders making a request as to how she could be of service to their community. The stark contrast of the romanticized Native American culture being sold in stores and the reality of tribal racism, diabetes and poverty was shocking.

In Joanna's thirties she embraced her soul purpose of modern day spiritual leadership, despite her many failures. Inspired by this Nelson Mandela quote, "Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again." She made many mistakes that have helped her clients and students to keep moving forwards no matter what obstacle have been thrown in their path.

Since Joanna turned 40, she created the "Intuition Masters" series including celebrity interviews. She has been featured on the TV show, "Laker Girls," on Time Warner Cable Sports Net which has aired multiple times and was on a season finale episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angel
