About the Author

Annabelle Fisher

As a child, I absolutely believed the world contained magic and I wouldn't have been at all surprised if someone told me I was descended from Mother Goose. If bugs could light up and tadpoles could grow legs, there had to be magic for me, too. By fourth grade I'd found it in writing and never let it go. Creating "The Secret Destiny of Pixie Piper" has allowed me to show that it can be more fun not-to-fit-in than to be like everyone else. And that being braver than brave and truer than true is something we should all aspire to.
