Deborah Beck Busis

Deborah Beck Busis, LCSW received her undergraduate and social work degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. She has treated clients with a wide variety of difficulties in community mental health but is now exclusively focused on helping clients lose weight and maintain their weight loss by directly teaching them cognitive and behavioral skills such as how to motivate themselves, how to use good eating habits even when they're tempted not to, how to manage hunger, craving, and the desire to eat for emotional reasons, how to stay on track and how to immediately get back on track after making a mistake.
In addition to treating dieters, she also supervises and trains professionals throughout the country in the cognitive behavioral program outlined in The Beck Diet Solution: Train Your Brain to Think Like a Thin Person.
