Douglas Gayeton is an award-winning American multimedia artist, filmmaker, writer, and photographer. He and his wife are the directors of the Lexicon of Sustainability project, which focuses on teaching people how to lead a more sustainable life. He is the author of LOCAL: The New Faces of Food and Farming in America, and SLOW: Life in a Tuscan Town. He lives on a small goat farm near Petaluma, CA.
