Her confusion over a green thumb, runner beans, and ponytails will give readers the giggles.

That adventure began in 2007, and now includes picture books, I Can Read's, and chapter books about the intrepid literally-minded heroine. The original Amelia Bedelia books were written starting in the early 1960's by Peggy Parish, Herman Parish's aunt, and Amelia Bedelia was a grown-up house servant for an elderly couple. All these humorous adventures result from what happens when you do everything exactly they way you're told haha!Outside of illustrating books, Lynne is a painter and plays bass in a blues band. She loves to travel to France, and spends most every fall in Paris, where she finds great inspiration. She loves to read and to knit and to spend time in the great outdoors of beautiful Arizona.
