Dr. Charles Sophy has treated celebrities in Beverly Hills as well as foster children from all walks of life in the Los Angeles County child welfare system for over twenty years. In addition to his private psychiatric practice, he serves as medical director for the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, the nation's largest child welfare system. He has appeared on television programs such as Today, Good Morning America, and CNN's Larry King Live, Anderson Cooper 360, and Campbell Brown, and on the FOX News Channel.
