Black babies dont come from white people. Except this one just did. Jen swears to Tom that hes the father, and shes just as dumbfounded as everyone else. Tom says he believes her. Theyre a team built on trust and theyre in this together. They choose to accept the unexplainable because the responsibility of caring for a newborn is bigger than the inexplicable fact that hes black... isnt it? Soon, amidst a constant barrage of questions from everyone, Toms doubts and worst fears begin to take hold. Both new parents are scared by the thoughts entering their minds, and scared to share them with each other. Baby Liam seems to love their dear friend Ron - why is it suddenly harder for Tom? And why do people keep confusing Ron for Liams father? Maybe because theyre both black. By the time a twist is revealed that could explain the babys appearance, it may be too late.
