Ally (Italia Ricci) , a luxury hotel manager, is a final contestant on a reality dating show. Her winning smile fades when she learns their date will be a Hometown Date. And while she has feelings for the bachelor (Jack Turner) , she finds herself reconnecting with her hometown boyfriend (Chad Michael Murray) , who owns the inn that all of production is staying in. As the producers set about turning the town into an artificial, picture-perfect, Hollywood spot, Ally finds herself growing protective of her hometown. Ally must choose what life she wants, the made-for-tv "perfection", or what she's been missing out on - real love and time with family.
