Once fully immersed, Tony wenton to become a vocalist with Raphy Leavitt s La Selecta and Willie Rosario.After recording and touring with these orquestas, he also began recording as asolo artist with Louie Ramirez and Eddie Palmieri. His first solo album camethrough RMM Records titled Yo Me Quedo . As part of the RMM roster, he went onto several Gold and Platinum certifications and recorded on legendary,groundbreaking releases such as RMM s Tropical Tribute to the Beatles, LaCombinacion Perfecta and Tito Puente s classic The 100th LP TheMambo King . In 1996, Tony Vega became a born-again Christian and, through hisfaith and music, has also become a successful artist within the Christian musicgenre.
