About the Author

Anne Cottringer was born in Niagara Falls Canada. She came to the UK study film history and theory and ended up working as a documentary camerawoman and a director. She's still doing that alongside writing books for children. She loved growing up in Canada on a street full of other kids and spending summers with her grandmother and brother on the shores of Paint Lake in Muskoka. Her real regret is that her parents never bought her a horse for her birthday.
