About the Author

Rukhsanna Guidroz

Rukhsanna Guidroz has always been drawn to far away places. It might have something to do with her Persian-Indian father and Chinese mother. After attending university in Europe, she bought a one-way ticket to Hong Kong. Working in journalism there was nothing short of thrilling, but it also made her hungry for a slower pace of life. Hawaii, by sheer accident, became her next stop and is now her home. She writes, teaches, and enjoys island life with her husband and two sons. Now, when she gets itchy feet, she turns to her writing and begins the next journey.
