With the aid of his gospel-charting version of "The Anthem" (already known to praise & worship fans as a hit by the Planetshakers) , a single that preceded the album by almost a year, A Worshipper's Heart marks the former minor-league baseball player's first gospel number one. The album also includes the single "Free Worshipper, " which also charted, and finds the singer backed by a vocal ensemble before the audience is asked to sing along.
